The learning activity in the English course involved creating a memo to the CEO of a
company giving a recommendation on how to implement a new method of sales strategy for its
new product that is yet to be launched in the market. My assignment was to recommend to the
CEO whether the market forecast for the new product in the market was feasible. I was to do this
in a memorandum addressed to the CEO, citing the issues I had identified during the field study.
Using my written communication skills and quantitative reasoning, I was to gather data and
feedback from the respondents and then file a report in a memorandum, recommending the best
course of action for the CEO to take.
During this class activity, the general objective was to have an understanding of the
critical thinking competency skills of written communication and quantitative reasoning. This
was achieved through the introduction of my cognitive ability to have an understanding of the
numerous vowels and pronunciation aspects of communication. The program competencies of
the course activity sort to help me have critical thinking competency in written communication
and quantitative reasoning by achieving specific learning objectives. Among the course activity
objectives were;
