Scholarship Essay to Study in China
Since arriving in the US in 2004, all I wanted was to get to learn more about different
cultures and ways of life of other communities. Born in Bangladesh, my parents felt that moving
here would provide me with the best chance to be a better person in future and to pursue a career
that would prepare for a diverse world. They believed that coming to the US would prepare me

probably before Christmas this year. When I came to learn of the scholarship opportunities
which will provide me with an opportunity to study, be a for a short period, I saw an opportunity

that will empower me to help more foreign students settle in the country. As a result, if awarded
the scholarship, I would like to enroll for a unit in Asian Business and Intercultural
Communication in a Chinese university.
While the opportunity to study in China will give a fresh opportunity to view the world
from a different perspective, it will also serve as an opportunity to learn more about the culture
of Asia which I have only come to learn from my parents and friends since leaving the continent
