Climate Change
Background

The concept of change in climat is among the most crucial environmental challenges that
are facing the planet earth. The change in climate is affecting human, animal as well as the
plant’s species. Climate change can be defined as a change that is long-term in the weather
patterns of the earth which includes precipitation as well as temperature. The aspect of more
factories, cars as well as power plants is bringing the element of climate change. Climate change
has taken place in the past but it the recent years it has been taking place at a rate that is
unprecedented (Clayton & Bonnes, 2015).
The average temperatures of the globe are raising and a high rate. This rise is being
caused by the building up of the greenhouses gases that are heat trapping which is being brought
by most of the human activities. Some of the human activities that are causing the buildup of
these gases include cutting down of trees, fossil fuels burning among other activities. These
activities release billions of tones of carbon dioxide into the environment whereby this rate has
increased since the industrial revolution (Clayton & Bonnes, 2015).
The clear evidence that exists to portray that climate change is happening even now is the
measurement of the average earth surface temperature that has been found to rise even with
approximately 0.9 degrees Celsius in the past century(Hansen & Velicogna, 2016). It has been
found that in the recent past decades, every decade turn to be hotter than the previous decade.
However, the change i...
