Introduction
A federal prison is a rehabilitation center meant for prisoners and other criminals for a
given time. At the prison, the prisoners receive correctional teachings and execute their
punishment under supervision and are later released. Different federal prisons operate
differently. Lucky prisoners enjoy their jail term and this depends on the facilities and the
kind of management at the prison. Lucky prisoners enjoy good meals and recreational
activities’ time. However, other prisoners face a rough time at the jail for example, rape
cases, disease and other forms of torture.
Martha Stewart served a five-month jail term jail term at Alderson federal prison
camp in West Virginia. A study by a national prisons union revealed that the staff at Alderson
