Consent To Treatment
Consent to treatment means that an individual must give a go ahead before they receive
any form of therapy or organization. A person provides consent to medication after an elaborate
explanation from the clinician. Permission from a patient/ person is mandatory regardless o
whether the treatment or examination to be conducted simple or complicated for instance blood
donation, medical checkup or physical exam. For consent to be accepted, it must be voluntary,
informed and the person giving permission must have the capacity to decide. Voluntary means
that the person giving consent does it from their own will. Informed means that the person giving
consent is aware of all the information regarding the treatment. Capacity means that the person
giving permission is of sound mind able to comprehend all the information giving to them. Any
