How does Respect for Diversity connect with the course material this week?
Respect for diversity creates a positive working environment in which productivity is
enhanced, human rights are respected and discrimination eliminated. These are the very
objectives of the course materials for this week and therefore for the course. Positive outcomes
are enhanced when people embrace their cultural and social differences rather than fight because
of it. Diversity is a great asset that enriches creativity, created a wide pool of talent and skills;
and ultimately adds value to all stakeholders (Konrad, Prasad & Pringle, 2005).
