Introduction
The study aims to discuss whether all states should make it mandatory for all passengers
and motorist to wear helmets. Over the reasons past many lives have been lost due to the failure
to initiate policies requiring all motorcyclists as well as passengers to wear helmets whenever
they are cycling or traveling on the roads. It is very unfortunate that we lose very innocent lives
due to motorcycle accidents that most cases result from head injuries. It’s true that this loss of
lives as a result of motorcycle accidents can be controlled through enacting policies making it
mandatory for all motorcyclists as well passengers ensure they wear helmets any time they are
on the road. Even though there are strict regulations for people who do not wear helmets while
driving, there is still a lot of people who drive without wearing them. The study aims to discuss
whether is in order for the government to make it illegal for motorists to ride without the helmet
and also discuss whether making helmet compulsory will reduce the rate of death cases.
