Traditionally, transnational terrorism groups are classified as heterogeneous groups, foreign fighters, and suicide bombers. Pick at least one terrorist group that fits the classification of transnational terrorism. Conduct research to provide an overview on the affiliations between your chosen group and domestic terrorist groups. How do these affiliations between your chosen terrorist groups relate to the various types of terrorist cells, the chain network, and terrorist organization models? You must use at least two sources in addition to the textbook.

activities by the terrorists in these countries have transformed their activities to include attacks
on the countries sending the troops their way. Recent research in this field indicates that
transnational terrorism is often directed at the interests of the countries that seek to intervene in
addressing the terror situation in various countries (Braithwaite, 2015). Developing an
understanding of the transnational terrorism, and its relation to the local terrorist activities could
significantly increase the level of knowledge on terror activities, motivation, and organization.
