Once the issues are identified, you can then began to to summarize the situation at Hefty based on the evidence in front of you. There are a number of issues in the case, but you should be able to focus them down to two key challenges which are highlighted in the case.
The Case Study should be three to five well-written pages with at least three Professional References.
Discussion Questions:
1) How effective is the partnership between IT and the business at Hefty Hardware? Identify the shortcomings of both IT and the business.
2) Create a written plan for how IT and the business can work collaboratively to deliver the Savvy Store program successfully.

Information Technology can be considered a crucial pillar that contributes to the success
of Hefty Hardware business. Notably, both the Chief Operations Officer and the Vice President
of Retail Marketing confirms that integration of Information technology has significantly
improved the competitive edge of Hefty Hardware. To start with, IT has streamlined
bookkeeping in business. The Hefty Hardware Chief operations confirms that before technology
was integrated into the business; account auditing took over two days, however; with the
introduction of ERP, it only takes a minimum of twenty for hours to audit the businesses
accounts (James.D Mckeen, Heather Smith, 2010).
Secondly is that the IT has improved the security of the company. It is imperative to note
that data security in businesses is paramount to prevent leaking of valuable information that may
