In this paper, choose a disorder/condition (I chose autism) and write an essay describing scientific research examining what is known about the humor deficits that are common in people having that problem. Describe the specific deficit (i.e., comprehension or production). To what extent does the research indicate that there are specific locations in the brain involved in humor processing that are affected by the disorder/condition.

Required Length: 1000 words minimum. The length of the papers is a minimum of 1000 words excluding references and title page. Papers do not need an abstract. Papers must be prepared using APA style 6th edition.

and interact with others. Autism spectral disorder, according to the American psychiatric
Association is defined as a single disorder that includes several other disorders that were
previously considered separate. These conditions include the Asperger’s syndrome, persuasive
developmental disorder, childhood disintegrative disorder and autism. This report focuses on
autism and its effects on the human brain. It elaborates on the autism disorder and how it affects
the human brain and social interactions. In addition, it discusses on effects of autism disorder on
a person’s sense of humor and their ability to create and maintain interpersonal relationships.

Autism disorder is a condition that affects the human brain and affects the ability to
communicate and interact (Dawson, Geschwind, & Amaral, 2006). The degree that autism
affects an individual differs in every patient and is mostly detected at a young age. The cause of
autism is usually uncertain but has been associated with hereditary factors and differences in the
