The client- the role of the client is to define a suitable method of using building
information model.
ii. The architect – develops theoretical design, construction level information, a
detailed design an analysis as well as the construction documents.
iii. The engineer- also develops a detailed design, and shops drawings with well
detailed elements.
iv.
The contractor- the contractor has a role of performing constructability analysis,
produce cost reliability, and schedule as well as plan using 4D model.
2. List and briefly describe (3) types of documentation utilized by the key players and
overseen by the CM/PM while administrating a project as it relates to Mechanical and
Plumbing systems.
i.
Diaries – contains summaries of the events that took place in each day and are
written in members own words. They help keep track of day to day activities,
observations, conversations, or any other information concerning the project’s
activities that may be relevant.
ii. Logs- they keep track of all the regular activities on the job site such as delivery
logs, phone logs, transmittal logs, and request for information logs.
iii. Daily field reports- this is a more formal way of information recording on the job
site. Information such as daily activities, equipment’s used, delivered materials
and equipment, visitors on the site, and temperature and weather is recorded in
these type of reports.

3. List (3) close-out activities/deliverables for a project as they relate to mechanical and

Project analysis- the project participants looks back over the projects success and
failures
