Walt Disney Company started in Kansas City, by the founder Walt Disney. The humble
beginning of the story of one of the most celebrated brands begun in an advertising office, which
was run by Walt Disney. The famous character of the Walt Disney franchise, Mickey Mouse,
was an actual rat that lived in the office. At the time, there were not many animal animated
cartoon characters in the film and animation industry, the choice of a mouse character as the
main attraction to his Walt Disney brand was rejected by the film industry. Walt Disney had a
close relationship with the Mouse in his office such that at the beginning, the voice of Mickey
was his own. The Walt Disney Company forced Walt to make many sacrifices to build his
dream, including the selling of his first car. The idea to take his Mouse character and expose to
the world was after he faced rejection and ridicule from film mogul, Louise B. Mayer. Walt
Disney went on to build the first Disney Land amusement park in Anaheim, California.
The launching of the Disney Land amusement park was great success to the company.
The vision of Walt was to create Amusements Park, unlike those that were in existence at the
time. He was always skeptic about taking his children from the dire conditions that the parks
were. They were dirty, noisy, and unkempt and there were unruly crowds in them. The
amusement parks were not a place that you would want to take your children; these sparked the
idea of Disney Land. The first Disney land opened its doors in Anaheim, California, July 17
1955. The park was a thing of amusement and wonder, making magic using technology. The;
dozens of machines, computers and other devices working together ensure that everything is
working. There are systems in place to monitor any changes in the behavior of the machines. The
philosophy of the park was that; the park is the stage and the audience is on the stage. This grove
