Introduction
Social control is a significant consideration in all nations but it is implemented differently
depending on several factors such as the history, culture, and the political systems. Considering
China, Japan and US they have a wide range of differences and similarities with China being a
developing nation and the US and Japan being developed nations (Groff, 2015). The three nations
are affiliated with different large culture with the US representing the western culture while Japan
and China representing the eastern cultures. This study aims at comparing the informal social
control methods in this three nations and establishing the nation with the effective prevention and
control of crime.
