Different companies have initiated recalls in the past few years. A majority of the
products, particularly those under the jurisdiction of the FDA were recalled for containing
potentially harmful substances while others such as the recent recall by Hyundai are as a result of
some technical faults discovered after the products’ release into the market. This essay identifies
some of the companies which initiated recalls within the last two to three years with specific
emphasis on their process for recalls.
Hyundai
In the past few years, Hyundai has had to recall a few of their models upon the discovery
of technical faults which could be fatal to the vehicle’s users. The most recent is the recall on
