Uber Health Uber's starting another business line called Uber Health that will give a ride-hailing stage accessible particularly to social insurance suppliers, letting facilities, doctor's facilities, recovery focuses and all the more effectively dole out rides for their patients and customers from an incorporated dashboard – without requiring that the rider even have the Uber application, or a cell phone. The Uber Health offer is like that of UberCENTRAL, the organization's ride-booking administration went for business clients who need to give rides to their customers, but on the other hand it's customized for the human services industry with HIPAA guidelines consistence, and also the capacity to utilize the administration on the customer side from even only a landline. Uber Health's creation was established in some disturbing measurements about patient care and medicinal services customer non-attendant rates. Uber Health isn't a substitution for emergency service vehicles including ambulances, in spite of late consideration paid to instance where patients have hailed Ubers while needing urgent care since they're faster to react than ambulances now and again. Be that as it may, it is a way that Uber can open up a promising new line of business while additionally giving an answer for an issue in the social insurance industry upheld by the dependability of the ride-hailing organization's purchaser benefit. Then again, suppliers can utilize their prudence to choose whether it's fitting to have a patient take Uber and that the administration won't be utilized for patients with critical therapeutic needs. It is a way to help patient's entrance non-critical administrations and decrease missed arrangements. http://money.cnn.com/2018/03/01/technology/uber-health/index.html Facebook’s Internet-delivering drone Facebook’s mission statement is “to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together” and the company is definitely going to great lengths to achieve it. Facebook is preparing to launch a solar-powered, Internet providing drone, called Aquila, that will provide access to about four billion people in the remote corners of the world who have yet to access the Internet and become connected online. The drone will transmit signals on the ground within a 60-mile radius. It is the first of its kind, being an unmanned airplane flying for months at a time, and so the company is reviewing every detail to ensure that everything is prepared and goes well for the launch. The drone weighs about 1,000lbs and has a longer wingspan than a Boeing 747. Facebook tested Aquila earlier last year with a flight thousands of feet above Yuma, Arizona. It lasted for 1 hour and 46 minutes, the company was elated with the results, but also wants it to last much longer. In a statement released by Facebook, they said, “Connecting people through high-altitude solarpowered aircraft is an audacious goal, but milestones like this flight make the months of hard work worth it." They are currently reviewing and making modifications to ensure its success. I think that Facebook’s plan to connect users in remote corners of the world will drastically affect business. With four billion users now having access to the Internet, not only will Facebook benefit from increased active user engagement, but so will other businesses with new consumers now having the access to view ads and possibly become customers. Apple unveiled AirPower at its iPhone X event. AirPower is a wireless charging pad. There are several wireless charging pads on the market, but before the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, you had to use a special case with your iPhone in order to use a wireless charging pad. AirPower works without the need of a special case. Just plop your iPhone on to the AirPower pad, and it starts charging.Place the AirPower pad wherever you like and then plug it into a power outlet. To charge your device just place it on the mat with the front facing up. AirPower uses induction, where an electromagnetic field is used to transfer power from the AirPower to a device. When you place your device on the AirPower it receives a signal from the pad to basically "handshake" with the device (checks for compatibility, charge capacity, etc). If everything checks out, charging proceeds. Apple has really outdone themselves with this incredible new innovation. It eradicates the issue of having to deal with wires being all tangled up and shortages in the cord. AirPower is designed to provide power to multiple devices simultaneously, with Apple advising it would be able to charge an iPhone, an Apple Watch, and the AirPods charging case at the same time. Digitimes report sources claim AirPower will have a maximum charging performance of up to 29W, a significant increase from the 7.5W other single-device charging pads currently offer. It is unclear if the 29W refers to the maximum charging capability for a single device or for multiple devices at the same time, but it is probable that the single device charging rate will be a lower figure. https://www.macworld.com/article/3224389/mobile-accessories/apple-airpower-features-specs-pricefaq.html ...
