Introduction
I worked with Bidco manufacturing company which is one of the most prominent

organizations in my local community. The firm undertakes various processing activities with the
end products including but not limited to detergents, cooking fat and oil, soaps and other
products used in mainly in the kitchen. This paper will focus on a decision that was made by the
top management and the ethical implication of such decision including the decision-making
process and lastly matters concerning corporate social responsibility and the use of such in the
organization.
Business Decision within Bidco
In every business, the most crucial component of production is usually the human
resource factor. The workforce is essential, and any business will not succeed if this component
is not well coordinated. To ensure a smooth running of a company, the human resource
management department is accorded the responsibility to make significant decisions concerning
human resources in the organization (Donaldson et al. 2010). Such choices can affect the entire
organization as well as the production levels. Among the decisions that the management of any
company can make based on the department is the recruitment and hiring processes which are
utilized to ensure the company has not only the right number of employees but also those with
the required qualifications. Others may include the compensation and benefits given to workers
for the services they provide to the company.
At Bidco manufacturing company, the HRM department decided on the recruitment
process where it was agreed that only male employees would be recruited for the open jobs that
were available for a given period. The issue of diversity at the job place is very essential, and in
