Business Analysts who help in shaping their projects. The challenge of being a sole proprietor,

AR Iteration2: Having familiarized myself with the company and the roles played by BAs, I
will try to identify the projects which have been successful in the company as a result of having
BAs. I will also identify projects which have failed and find out the reasons. Nevertheless, I will
focus on those projects which failed, thereby, find out the reasons. What if they were assigned to
BAs?
The Failed Projects
To begin with, some of the roles of a BA in a prominent company such as NexSolv Inc
includes planning and monitoring of the events that happen in the organization, helping out with
the business case, analyzing the entire set of requirements at the company, and lastly, eliciting
the requirements (Abrahamsson, Salo, Ronkainen, & Warsta, 2017). The BAs who have been
categorized to be much more skilled are those who have the capacity of making use of the
requirements and driving the review or the design of 3the test cases. With regard to the complex
business environment at the company, it is noteworthy to indicate that the traditional methods
may not be applied to reach the objectives of the company. However, it is crucial that individuals

get to breakdown the projects of the organization, its failures and above all, the success behind
the projects.
At NexSolv Inc, most of the projects that were carried out were quite effective due to the
fact that the organizers had put in place proper structures that would enable its success. The
company has been said to be one of the places where one could get a set of requisite skills which
could enable clients to implement their desired technological solutions toward project success
and various programs. Over the years, NexSolv Inc has been recognized by different sets of
clients for its ability to produce excellent designs (Armstrong, Kotler, Harker, & Brennan,
2015). The company is equally in records as one which insists on executing effective and
efficient recruitment strategies that enables projects to sail through thereby impressing the needs
of the clients.
While implementing the laid planned projects, the company equally tries as much as
possible maximize its capabilities with regard to the resources that it has. It is noteworthy to
indicate that the strategy applied by the company has proved to yield positive results in as much
it could fail sometimes (Abrahamsson et al., 2017). The tactics applied have produced out results
amongst the Federal clients, the State agencies and most of it all, other commercial clients across
the United States of America. Some of the projects that have been held effectively, with whose
results appeared to be much positive include the following:
An Enterprise Service Provider (ESP)
The project could be described as an architecture that combines the computer science and
the engineering discipline so as to solve the practical problems that have been brought forth by
the client. The project had been introduced with an aim of solving the needs of the clients who
had complained consequently (Armstrong et al., 2015). The enterprise service provider or the

architecture has high levels of principles and components of the object oriented structures that
are brought forth to match with the modern heterogeneous architectural world. The concept of
the architectural, enterprise service provider had first been created and initiated in 2006 by Hasso
Plattner who was the chairman of SAP AG at the time when he came up with the idea.
The project included a set of layers which had components of aggregated data and
different application function that emanated from various applications (Abrahamsson et al.,
2017). The project had been made in such a way that is equally identified as the reusable
elements. Such components are crucial as they could be used in the communication process. The
advantage of the project is that it enables the deployment of the Web services so as to create
applications that are to be found within the current infrastructure (Armstrong et al., 2015). For
such reason, the project is deemed to be of great value as it would be used in increasing the value
of the business.
The main goal as to why the project had been created was to ensure that the process of
componentization and abstraction had been carried out effectively. The project was aimed at
ensuring that the required business standards, both internal and external had been achieved at the
end of the day. Additionally, the enterprise service provider was meant to create a conducive IT
framework whereby the standardized frameworks could be could aggregate and function together
with an aim of reducing the complexity levels (Armstrong et al., 2015). In order for the
organization to build up useful and reusable components, it was quite necessary for the firm to
come up with a proper infrastructure that would give leeway for the components to conform in
accordance to the environmental needs. Therefore, the success factor of the project would lead to
positive results especially from the client’s side (Ghezzi, Cavallaro, Ran...
