I have a complete set (12) of Noritake china from the 50s. The pattern is CANTON with the dinner plate bearing # 5027. I know this has been discontinued. It was my mothers and I am wondering what it would be worth? Thank-you Michael.

  • Yes, your fine set of Noritake would date from the late 1940's/ early 50's and as a complete set for 12 would be considered a "nice find" to a prospective buyer. Assuming your set is in excellent condition and that it is comprised of approximately 60 pieces (+/-), including several serving pieces, it would have an estimated value of $1200-$1400. Again, a great set of this classic Japanese ware.

    and if it is

91 Piece Set of Vintage Noritake Dinnerware China Paradise 1950s Service for 12+

the value will be $1600 to $1700 on ebay' in 2010 so i think the price will be around $500 now or much more

I think i just got a bit over the mark for the price so let me now tell you the current trend in the market for a noritake china 12 dinner set the best place to get info on this is

The internet collector,s bazaar and url is http://noritake.icollectorbazaar.com/  and post a photo to get the best offer

and the price could approximately be around $1100  to $1200

and please confirm how many pieces set do you have to give you a correct estimate.
