Researchers undertake studies to investigate a phenomenon of interest and the various
variables that influence its occurrence. The methods of investigations vary depending on the
origin from which data is obtained, the sampling procedure, and the apparatus utilized when
collecting the data. A study data refers to genuinely recorded information mainly preserved by
and received in the scientific body as essential to warrant research findings. The various sources
of data in research are primary sources, secondary, or triangulation, which is a dual procedure
combining both secondary and primary data sources. Primary data is first hand data collected by
an investigator utilizing techniques such as observation, experimental methods, and surveys
while secondary data is obtained through collection of materials from electronically stored
