American drug wars take us through the most expensive unnecessary war that the
American government has over the last decades engaged with drug users and dealers. There is
more in this war against drugs that any ordinary would imagine, this ranges from propaganda by
government officials to corruption (Ventures, 2012). Almost every American believes that the
war on drugs is a misplaced priority and so much money should not be budgeted for it. The war
on drugs takes away the unreliable rights of people like life, liberty, and their pursuit of
happiness.
The film is generally talking about the multidimensional portrait created by the impact of
the war on drugs and more specifically to law enforcement officers, drug users, and dealers. The
film has many themes that can be independently discussed concerning on what revolves around
the war on drugs. Although some people feel that the word ‘war’ is too strong or misused in this
contents, it still remains the most appropriate depending on how one perceives the struggle to
end the use of drugs. Some of the most iconic themes in this film include;
