DESCRIPTION OF THE PAPER (100 PTS):

The paper should be a 5-page (double-spaced, 1-inch margins, 12 pt font, Times New Roman, APA format) synthesis paper on a controversial issue related to any topic relevant to the hunger and environmental nutrition (some suggestions on the next page.

The paper should present both sides of the issue and arrive at a definite conclusion or interpretation supported by research data from the literature (including at least 4 research articles, submitted with paper). Your own opinion can be included in the conclusion, but it should not be evident in the objective presentation of the research supporting each side of the argument.

The research articles should be from peer-reviewed journals. You should have 2 supporting articles for each side of the issue and you should analyze the research supporting each side. You may use other sources along with the four research articles; these should be included in your reference list but only your 4 peer reviewed research articles will be evaluated for points.

Introduction
The issue of gender inequality has been controversial in not only the American society but
in the global community. The driving force of gender inequality is parenthood. Gender inequality
is presented as a controversial issue from ancient time. However, it has taken roots in the 20th and
21st centuries with the advancement in modernization (Luís & Amaral, 2018). In the recent, the
gender gap between men and women has been shrinking in various fields such as education,
economics, and research, with other fields such as politics and engineering having huge gaps. It is
projected that it will take about a hundred and eighteen years to completely close the gap between
men and women in all fields. Huge gender inequalities are experienced in the workplace. On
average, women are more likely to work on part-time, work on low wages and have scanty
opportunities for rising to managerial positions. In most societies, the professional potentials of
individuals are weighed by their gender, which leads to an imbalance in the workplace and reduced
career growth for professionals. In most cases, the promotion of gender rationale has been based
on the perceptions that women are a weaker gender and will and their workout put is greatly
influenced by their emotions. The following is a debate on whether gender inequality is appropriate
at workplace America society.
