ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING
Introduction
Electronic prescribing or e-prescribing is expanding tremendously. The rapid growth is
not because of technology but because of the many benefits that physicians and patients are
getting from e-prescribing. Electronic prescribing according to (Salmon & Jiang, 2012) refers to
a technology technique that allows physicians to write down and transfer prescriptions to

This paper will highlight issues surrounding the e-prescribing.
