Florence Nightingale's most significant achievement is the introduction of professional
nursing into the military hospitals. Nightingale had a great believer and the ‘call to service' which
are essential to be able to understand her inspiration and approach that molded her work. In this
paper, we will be looking at Florence Nightingale contribution to the advancement of the nursing
