Research, identify, and discuss the basic roles of HRM professionals, as well as explain how their roles have changed over the year.

Roles of HRM

The role of human resource management is among the most crucial in any organization.
The role of the HRM department has however changed over the years as the world changes
affecting the business environment of various organizations. In this paper, I will discuss the
primary roles of the HRM department as was recognized traditionally and how the roles have
changed according to the changing environment.
The HRM department oversees one of the most critical components of any organizationa flourishing workforce. The role of the HRM traditionally was to organize people in their
various capacities so that they could efficiently work (Bianca, 2018). This needed the
organization to view people as assets and not costs to the company and hence the term, human
resource management. To manage people effectively, the HRM department was to handle the
organization's businesses in recruitment and hiring, coordinating the employee benefits
programs, and giving suggestions on employee training activities and development strategies...
