Business Negotiations Review and Reflect
The last eight weeks of my classwork have been highly informing and enlightening
concerning negotiation and the whole process of conducting a negotiation. Furthermore, I found
the topics during this period highly informative on the process of bargaining and the different
issues which influence the negotiation process. Of all the topics which I learned within this
period, the chapters of perceptions, cognitions and emotions as well as that of power and that on
integrative negotiations stood out as the most important ones. From these three chapters, I
managed to learn a lot which I can use or apply during the negotiation process later in my career.
As I learned, power is one of the greatest influencers of the negotiation process. This is
because power has the ability to influence or use a position or the possession of knowledge to
