Charting

Instructions:

• Copy the following data into a new Excel spreadsheet.Be sure to keep the cell data the same
• Save the workbook as yourname_P2.
• At G2 enter the column title: Total
• Calculate the total for each month over the last 5 years
• Use the fill handle to copy the formula
• At A15 enter the row title: Yearly Total
• Find the yearly total for each of the years
• At A17 enter the row title: Highest
• Find the highest temperature for each year
• At A18 enter the row title: Lowest
• Find the lowest temperature for each year
• Enter the title at A1:Temperatures
• Change the Font, Font Size and Color of your Title
• Size 28
• Font:Algerian
• Color:(You Choose)
• Center the Title across the table
• Format the rest of the table to your liking
• Center all of the data, except for column A
• Make the column widths of columns B – G to be the same 24 pixels
• Change the sheet tab name to RAINFALL
• Color the TAB red
• Create a Column Chart with the Total Temperatures per Month
• Move the Graph underneath the Table
• Enter your name, Student ID #, Date and Instructor Name
• Complete the Document Properties:
• TAGS (use a minimum of 3, separated by commas)
• Create a LINE GRAPH comparing the lowest and highest temperatures
• Move the graph to a new sheet.
• Call this new sheet HIGHs and LOWs.
• Color the tab BLUE
• Save your work and submit
