Introduction
The case study is about Jason, a twenty-year-old patient at a state forensic hospital,
accused of murder for taking the life of Yvonne, a twenty-one-year-old female. Jason got
admitted to the state judicial hospital to receive further treatment as he waits for his trial.
Rumour has it that his legal team plans to claim the patient was in a dissociative state when he
attacked the victim, stabbing her to death. After growing through his story, one can tell that other
than being the only child; Jason displays lack of concentration, distraction and aggression. His
parents state that he had tantrums approximately three to four times in a week. At school,
students described him as “a bully with no friends”. At about nine years old, Jason he started
developing a cycle where he would begin to any routine highly motivated with the will to see it
through. But since his positive starts did not last long enough actually to happen, he would let his
frustration show by acting out and after a while resume back to his calm self....
