Research and discuss the differences between leaders and managers. Introduction
Leadership and management are concepts that overlap with many using them
interchangeably. However, leaders and managers have different perspectives and roles in
organizations and communities. For instance, leaders have followers or people who follow them
while managers seek people to work for them (Zaleznik, 2004). In this research paper, the article
discusses the differences between leaders and managers.
One of the differences between leaders and managers is the character traits possessed by
each person. For instance, leaders must integrity and honesty to ensure that people believe in
their abilities and can buy their vision. Further, leaders create visions and inspire people or their
