This article will focus on governing bodies in the Middle East, in South East Asia as well
as in the United States. These governing bodies focus on the security of information for the
populations in their respective countries. Information security calls for the protection of
information in both the digital and the physical nature. Protection is conducted to keep the
information from unauthorized access or from getting to people to whom it should not.
Governing bodies, therefore, operate with information security as their end goal.
In the South East Asia, and in focus, Singapore, the Cyber Security Agency will have its
details provided. This organization operates on a national level for the people of Singapore. Its
