An experience with nature on a hike on an escarpment
The term nature can apply to mean the physical aspects of the world. Everyone has
had an experience with the nature, though there are some proven ways of experiencing
nature that are significantly better than others. The following is a personal narrative on my
experience with nature during a hike on an escarpment.
It was an early morning and the sun was rising from the East. I had dedicated the day
for a hike on an escarpment not-so far from where we lived. I took three more friends with
me for the hike. We started the hike as early as nine O’clock. After a twenty minutes’ drive,
we alighted, headed to the grassland at the foot of the escarpment. That day I noted a few
things for the first time; that nature has unique serenity that is absent from any other
artificial environment.
At the foothill of the escarpment, we found a brook running from one side of the
escarpment headed to the west. Notably, the vegetation around the brook had more green
leaves and appeared more vibrant than the rest. However, we discovered that the area around
the brook had more organisms and then the other parts of the grassland.
After a brief stop, we started off to climb the slanted slope of the escarpment. At the
