In the past, the hiring process would involve the analysis of the resumes and the abilities of the
applicants. However, in the modern workplace environment, there has been new testing methods,
which have all been set to a particular threshold. On the range, one needs to understand that these
tests should be capped to the extent of the relevant skills that the workplace environment is
seeking to acquire. The limitations include the fact that some skills cannot be realized or
evaluated in a short time and this means that it affects the overall efficiency of the testing. Preemployment testing cannot incorporate both the personality and professional skills, and this
means that it has to focus on one independently, yet these skills are interdependent (Stoughton et
al., 2015). The management can fall for quick results by the use of pre-employment testing and it
is necessary that they diversify the testing process to make it as objective as possible. For
