The subject of this report is the “Environment Monitoring Drone” which was
designed and assembled as a part of the course project. The Environment monitoring
drone was designed to measure the temperature and humidity of our environment
while also calculating the concentration of carbon dioxide in the environment. The
drone functions wirelessly by formatting the data. Various software like Gas lab,
LabView etc. will be used to confirm proper working of the drone.

Drone technology is very efficient and suitable for a vast number of
environmental protection and conservation applications. Drone Technology offers
fast, easy and cost-effective in-flight images. There are many explanations why
specialists such as environmental engineers and also the scientific researchers are
progressively using drones, often in place of terrestrial surveying tools or traditional
aerial imaging services. The benefits include Flexibility, time efficiency, and costeffectiveness.
The current environmental conditions of the world with threats like climate
change, frequent environmental hazards and global warming makes it necessary to
quickly and accurately monitor the climate and any changes. This served as a
motivation for coming up with the project of designing and fabricating an
environment monitoring drone.
An environment monitoring drone can be propelled on demand and in a very
short time. These drones produce completely up-to-date imagery and are well-suited
to time-sensitive tasks and for monitoring climate at locations at regular intervals.
Environment monitoring drone is also very cost effective as related to other
replacements like manned imaging aircraft. These drones are also small in size and
lighter electric-powered drones. They make noise due to which animals are disturbed
