Why Contemplation is The Greatest Human Activity
In the process of writing Nichomachean Ethics, Aristotle gives a discussion about the
contemplative idea of life and how one can use virtue to establish happiness. In this particular
paper, I will discuss the reasons that Aristotle used to support his theory that contemplation is the
most significant human activity and also examine the validity of his arguments (Aristotle, Ross
& Lewes 2009). Contemplation is the act of staring thoughtfully at something for an extended
period, having deep reflection thoughts or even that state of being planned or considered.
