Thesis statement: Social Interaction with people from different regions of the world coming into
contact with unintended foreign consequences resulting to diseases such as smallpox, measles
and yellow fever which caused massive death among the native Americans.
The “Columbian exchange” refers to work of Christopher Columbus sailor of the ocean
blue who unintentionally facilitated the exchange of goods in separate worlds in 1491.
Columbus joined the two worlds, the new world of American and Old world which included
Eurasia and Africa. Additionally, he used voyage to enhance the exchange of organism between
two different worlds. During Columbus exploration of the new world contributed a great deal of
