Creating a team in Driving Change Effort

Change is one inevitable aspect of any organization, particularly in the business world.
No one can avoid change and is necessary for the changing business environment and that's why
change must be studied in depth and measures taken to ensure that change efforts in
organizations get adhered to and everyone is in the same page towards achieving success.
Change efforts in companies happen often and it’s not a new phenomenon since organizations
have in a long time engaged in changes such as restructuring to either make them competitive or
be able to remain relevant in the business environment. Companies should have a corporate
culture which toes the line in change efforts and accepts change. It is critical for the
organization’s culture to accept change for the success of the firm failure to which the efforts
may collapse even before implementation. Change efforts must be part of the firm’s planning to
realize efficiency. The human resource departments play a crucial part in the change efforts
success and should do so by developing the company's culture which will accept the change.
Companies in coordination with their corporate culture should have a clear business strategy for
them to compete in the current business environment but many companies take the route of
spending millions of dollars in change efforts without having clear change strategies. It explains
why so many change efforts don't succeed in producing the expected Return On Investment
which is a massive loss to the company which went through the rigors of realizing change
efforts. Some of the changes come in form of information technology and in the increased
