Rich People Should Pay Higher Taxes
Conventionally, a millionaire is an individual that earns more than one million currency units per
year. The term ‘millionaire,’ in the modern world, is synonymous with being wealthy, or in social
terms, it is synonymous with being ‘rich.’ Out of the 7 billion people in the world, only 15 million
individuals have achieved the ‘millionaire’ status, at least, by standards of the US Dollar. A third
of these individuals come from the United States alone. By extension, the United States is the
richest country in the world. As exciting as it sounds, the question of whether the ‘rich,’ or in this
case, the ‘millionaires’ should pay more taxes than the current 20% requirement by the IRA is a
matter of debate. Ideally, rich people should pay more taxes because they have a social, moral and
economic responsibility to make the world a better economic spectrum, which would make them
get even richer in the long run. This debate has been pushed forward regarding ethos, logos, and
pathos, through the following scholarly works.

of the world’s economy, as explained in the journal only ride on the hard work of the poor. The
labor force toils and grinds to produce each unit of the good or service business executives
