Globalization refers to the global interaction between people, businesses, and other
organizations (Dunning, 2014). The advent of modern communication and transport technologies
has enabled fast communication and travel around the world. In the 21st century, people can
meet, trade, and interact more. With the internet, ideas are now exchanged much more quickly.
The global exchange of views is not very much controversial. The most contentious aspect of
globalization today is trading. Some people rightfully argue that global trade has benefited some
countries at the expense of other nations (Burlacu, Gutu, & Matei, 2018). Due to this fact, some
term globalization to be more disadvantageous. I completely disagree with their conclusion.
Globalization has some disadvantages, but overall, the benefits far outweigh the limitations.
More so, the barriers can be addressed through international dialogue and right policies within a
country. This essay targets members of the general public.
One benefit of globalization is that it has stimulated economic growth (Collins, 2015).
There are some ways through which the global economy has benefited. Developing countries
such as those in Africa can get financing mostly in the form of loans from developed nations
such as the U.S., and China and global organizations such as the world bank and International
Monetary Funds (IMF). The funds have been utilized to invest in vital infrastructures such as
roads, railways, and power. The improvement in infrastructure has attracted businesses to set up
