Ethical programs within organizations
Introduction
Ethics and compliance programs are significant organization’s programs that are enacted
to enhancing law-abiding and ethical conducts in the organization. These programs are essential
in shaping good organizations and to gain good insights about ethical programs; four articles
concerning integrity-based ethical programs and compliance-based ethical programs shall be
summarized.

This article argues that in the public sector, integrity management programs is the most
significant phenomenon that should be advocated in organization management. The author of
this article argues that a balance between value and compliance must be maintained to instill
effective procedures, instruments, and methods that trigger ethical behavior among the
organization’s workforce. This article argues that organizations have not established a tool that
defines the limits of integrity management frameworks; thus, this article proposes that
organizations must adopt various contingency approaches to manage organization’s ethics. Also,
the article argues that these approaches must have the ability to overcome limitations of integrity
management strategies (Tremblay, Martineau & Pauchant, 2017). We find that in ancient time,
integrity in organizations was perceived as something personal but as a result of a broad range of
ethical scandals in the 1990s; the organizations began to embrace the significance of managing
integrity in both public and private sectors. The integrity management framework has been
shown as the most effective framework for promoting integrity, especially in public sector.
Integrity-bases approaches are concerned with the internal controls with the main aim of
