Napoleon’s effect on the French Rev.
Introduction
The French revolution is a type of revolution that took place in 1789 in France; it mainly marked
the end of ancient Regime and it was mainly aimed at distinguishing events of the ancient
regimes with events of new revolutions that started from 1830. The French revolution was the
most violent and universally re-known type of revolution. It is believed to have resulted from the
social structure of the West; this included the increase in the elite and wealthy manufacturers,
professionals, and merchants1 . Several debates are being conducted to determine the exact cause
of revolution and some sources claim that peasants were less willing to comply with France’s
feudal system. Also, the revolution was geared towards minimizing government’s brink of
bankruptcy. In the era 1788, France as the most re-known country in Europe was experiencing
crop failure thus; during this time the country was experiencing economic difficulties 2 . Also, the
country’s monarchy was not divinely ordained and it failed in adapting to societal and political
pressures that were being exerted on time at that moment. Before the French revolution, most
people lived in destitution, poverty and the monarchical system had a negative impact on the
citizens. This revolution revealed the power inherent in the will of France’s citizens. Napoleon
