ITS 532 Cloud Based Collaboration Paper & Discussion
Chapter 7 topics:
Define collaboration.
Define and describe cloud-based collaboration.
The CIO of Ace Accounting Services suggests that the company can save considerable money using VoIP for phone calls. Define and describe VoIP. Then present three companies that provide VoIP offerings. Compare and contrast each company’s offering. Also, discuss whether or not you agree with the CIO and justify why.
List the questions one should consider when evaluating a cloud-based collaborative solution.
please reply:
1) Define collaboration?
Collaboration is a framework that allows us to define common values between data and software to create reusable systems that are reusable across applications and tools. As a company, we have different needs for each use case, and the ability to share data without duplicating the code and resources (Stergiou, Psannis, Kim, & Gupta, 2018).
Define and describe cloud-based collaboration?
We use cloud-based collaboration to create the best business products for our clients and customers. And here, you will find an easy to understand website design to help you get the right design for a project in less time (Langmead & Nellore, 2018).
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that allows you to make voice calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular (or analog) phone line. Ooma Ra division and Nextiva using VOIP(Langmead & Nellore, 2018).
List the questions one should consider when evaluating a cloud-based collaborative solution?
What are the physical and logical access controls, and the health checking processes? How do you evaluate open source or cloud software? How is a company protecting high value? What's the lowest fee/performance ratio that you can make a profit off? And can you meet those numbers?

2)Define collaboration.
collaboration is a situation where multiple parties converge toward a common goal. The term can be applied to a technology that allows individuals or groups to work together. This covers a wide spectrum of technologies, including social and interactive media and other social platforms.
Define and describe cloud-based collaboration.
Collaboration in the cloud is the process where shared documents are stored in a central storage in the cloud. Different people, usually members of a team, have access to the cloud, which gives them authorization to upload, open, modify, and leave comments on documents. As a result of this arrangement, people can work together on virtually the same files (Lillian, Chew, Ling, & Hoe, 2018, p. 607).
Define and describe VoIP. Then present three companies that provide VoIP offerings.
Questions to consider when evaluating a cloud-based collaborative solution are:
What cloud services do you offer?
What is your pricing structure?
How secure is your cloud?
Where is your data center and how secure is it?
What happens if you lose my data?
What customer service services do you offer?
How will I access my company's cloud?
Define and describe VoIP. Then present three companies that provide VoIP offerings.
VoIP is the technology that converts your voice into a digital signal, allowing you to make a call directly from a computer, VoIP phone, or other data-based devices. Simply put, it is a telephone service delivered over the Internet.
RingCentral: Starting price per month $ 22.99. Features include voicemail to text, toll free or local number, 100 free minutes per month.
Vonage: Starting price per month $ 14.99. Its features include unlimited talk and text, mobile and desktop applications.
Frontera: Starting price per month Varies. Its features include shared workstations, auto attendant, desktop wallet (Ganguly, 2008, p. 18).
I agree, with the CEO of Ace accounting services that company can save considerable money using VoIP for phone calls with the accessibility and the usability to make using internet from anywhere.
