The Islamic religion is among the few religions all over the world with a very rich
history. A lot of significant events related to the religion took place in the past. Some of these
events were responsible for the modern day practices in the Islamic religion. Furthermore, the
events shaped the present day leadership structure, worship patterns as well as the symbols
adopted for worship purposes and the geographical distribution of the Muslims all over the
world. The Prophet Muhammad is usually recognized as the founder of Islam by all the Muslims
as well as historical scholars (Cleveland & Bunton, 2016). He fought and championed for the
social order and rights currently enjoyed by Muslims. The prophet is believed to have had a
