How animals get abused
Animals lack the natural life in the modern agricultural farms. In the modern era, animals
are experiencing too much misery in their growing, since animal keepers seek to optimize on
output reduce costs of production. If farmers were create healthy and comfortable conditions for
animals, they might need more space, and a higher cost of capital. However, animals are being
mistreated in the process of optimizing output. Farmers are genetically manipulating the animals
to grow them faster for quicker production of meat, and other products such as milk and eggs.
Animals are kept in congested cages, crates, and sheds and they are transported from one place to
another in closed and congested tracks. Animals are not even given a chance to see the light of
day since they have to remain indoors (Frank & Frank, 54).
In order to keep the animals alive, farmers used high doses of antibiotics on animals that
are kept in low sanitary conditions. This does not make the animal healthy, but as mentioned,
