We've read three different vampire stories for the end of the semester, so for this final prompt I would like you to analyze the development of these tales. How have vampires been represented in each of the story, and which one is your favorite? That being said, please explain your answer as thoroughly as possible, being careful to take plot, setting, character development, theme, etc. into consideration.
Again, this is another fairly informal prompt that I hope will lend itself to some interesting classroom discussion. We'll obviously need to wrap up our coverage of the novel today, but after I finish tying up what I think are the loose ends, I'd like to turn the classroom over and have you guide the discussion according to your responses here. Like usual, I may not have time before class to read over everyone's responses, so please take note of ideas you'd like to discuss and prepare to volunteer for discussion.
