  • You are tasked with developing a sample of 100 employees from a population of 400 employees. Approximately 60% of the employees are women and 40% of the women are racial/ethnic minorities. Approximately 33% of the male employees are racial/ethnic minorities. Discuss how you might develop a stratified fandom sample and tell me how many racial/ethnic minority females and how many racial/ethnic minority males will eventually be in your sample.

Discuss how you might develop a stratified random sample and tell me how many
Racial/ethnic minority females and how many racial/ethnic minority males will eventually
be in your sample.
A stratified random sampling is a form of probability sampling method which helps an
individual in selecting a sample (Padilla et al., 2015). With the use of a stratified sampling
method, there are equal chances of selection on each group in a given stratum in sample creation.
In this scenario, we are involved with two groups, the female employees, and the male workers.
Therefore, stratified random sampling is the most convenient method of sampling as this method
involves division of the population into two or more strata.
Stratified random sampling involves proportionate stratification whereby, the method
provides an equal probability that individuals from both groups, for instance, may be selected for
inclusion in the sample population. To develop a stratified random sampling, I will follow the
procedure for development of a stratified random sampling method as provided by the
researchers.
