Media provides the key where the society is able to get important information regarding
the existing activities where it is possible to help form an opinion on what needs to be done in
order to improve their knowledge on key elements. Media ownership plays an integral role in
controlling the information that is being relayed since they have major focus on major issues,
which influence the wellbeing. The fact that media ownership influence the information that is
relayed to the community, it creates a significant influence on the perception that people have
regarding political, social and cultural spheres. Therefore, there is need to understand the

Political and cultural influence
Media owners are tasked with key focus on creating a better level of engagement since it
is possible to achieve a greater level of influence under which it is possible to empower the
population. Politics have had a negative influence on flow of information since politicians focus
on information that suits their political agenda regardless of its impact. The media, in this case,
include radios, televisions, newspapers and the internet. Most people significantly tend to believe

integrate positive aspects in ensuring that there is a positive development across the targeted key
informative aspects. The media is an integral part of individuals’ lives in the current generation.

Dunaway, 2017).
Media owners have played an integral role over the years in shaping the development of
important elements within the society. The need to develop a positive level engagement within a
given setting is based on the need to spread certain information so that it can reach the desired
target and create a positive level of influence where it is possible to influence the decision that is
made. Therefore, media owners have sole responsibility of providing information that can inform
the public as well as increasing the existing bond between members of the society (Sunstein, 2018).
News form an important part of everyday life and thus it is dependent upon by individuals.
Credibility of source of information is crucial in any given society. The ability of to provide
credible information enables the society to be very much informed and thus do not depend on
propaganda and fake news therefore forms an important part of the society and serves as
entertainment. Fake news is very harmful and it not entertainment since it propagates different
engagement and issues which can help in developing a better society. There are different reasons
why fake news is developed within a given society. The intention of fake new therefore is only
