    Drug, alcohol and substance abuse causes a host of problems to communities and
    societies as a whole. The cost of drug and substance abuse in Nevada is increasing at an
    alarming rate, when measured by the lost productivity, medical illness, injuries and premature
    death. This article will examine the causes of drugs, alcohol and substance abuse, and its
    socio-economic impacts to the country. Various program designs such as detoxification,
    counseling, residential treatment, education, and sensitization, are aimed to transform the
    Nevadans from addictive behavior. Nevada State harbors the city of Las Vegas, which is
    famous for gambling and stripping activities. The demographics behavior poses various
    challenges, which encourage the residents to abuse drugs. Alcohol abuse goes hand in hand
    with gambling, which is most prevalent activity in Las Vegas. The article also examines
    Albert Banduras Social learning theory, which explains why a majority of residents living in
    Nevada are addicted to alcohol, drug and substance abuse.

    Introduction: Statement of the problem
    Drug, alcohol and substance abuse, is a common problem in the United States, and
    particularly in Nevada. Most cases of domestic violence, assault, and careless driving, has
    been attributed to drug abuse, which affects millions of people. Cases of domestic violence,
    assault, and reckless driving, have been rampant in Nevada, and frequently occur when
    individuals cause physical, sexual or psychological harm to their spouses, or endanger the
    lives of other road users. This article, therefore, provides a program that can help rehabilitate
    and reform the victims of drug and substance abuse and make them refrain from acts which
    are contrary to the social norms, and the United States formally enacted rules. The programs
    include inpatient treatment programs, for individuals who have been sexually abused, and
