Introduction
Transport defines the process through which movement from one place to another is
facilitated. Transport has been a major factor in the development of cities in the past and current
world. Many scholars have confirmed that transport has constituted for the growth of the cities.
Most people can easily connect with their families or friends in the cities through transport,
additionally, goods can also be transported to the cities to through transport thus, and transport
plays an important role in the growth of the cities. However, future transport will take a different
direction. The future transport will be majorly based on providing safety, for the travellers and
environment, thus electric train provided a major part of the future transport. According to
Hensher (2017), an Electric train has been considered a major and effective transport vessel that
would be used in the future since it does not pollute the environment by smoke and loud sound.
Furthermore, the train carries more people and is safe as compared to the buses which only carry
a few people and always cause numerous accidents. In this essay, I will talk about transport and
since this is a broad topic, I will break my topic into portions and then finalize with my points of
views.

History of transport
.Transport is the major activity that people in the past considered important since it
allowed them to communicate with people from different areas and supply different goods to
them. Therefore it was important to come up with important transport vessels. Apart from the use
of the locomotives, transportation was also started in various ways. For example, some people,

especially from Mesopotamia, valued the use of animals to transport their goods to different
places especially to the markets. Some of the animals that people used for the transportation
purposes included donkeys and camels. Donkeys and camels were used for transportation
because they were believed to be strong and could easily survive in the hard condition especially
in the deserts. The use of these animals was also associated with various problems. For example,
these animals could not carry many goods which they were expected to carry by their owners.
Additionally, animal transport was rejected since it showed misuse of animals as some people
could just use the animals for transport without providing food to them. The animals are also
slow when it comes to speed, it was difficult to speed up the movement of the animals with
goods on their back thus they were slow. When these animals got infected with certain diseases,
their availability to transport goods would be reduced. It was also difficult to carry numerous
goods together with people on the bod...
