Analysis of Variance
Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is a statistical tool that is used to explore the differences
that are exhibited by a particular group of elements that are experimented (Mendenhall, &
Sincich, 2016). Analysis of variance is thus an appropriate mechani...

3 Statistics problems case studies, statistics homework help
PLEASE READ THE QUESTIONS/PROBLEMS CAREFULLY; SHOW ALL YOUR WORK AND REASONING, Just the answer, without supporting work, will receive no credit.1.(Show your work.) A Nissan Motor Corporation advertisement read:“The average man’s I.Q. is 107. The average brown trout’s I.Q. is 4. So why can’t man catch brown trout?” Suppose you believe that the brown trout’s mean I.Q. is greater than four. You catch 12 brown trout. A fish psychologist determines the I.Q.s as follows: 5; 4; 7; 3; 6; 4; 5; 3; 6; 3; 8; 5. Conduct a hypothesis test of your belief. Use a significant level of 5%. The standard deviation of the I.Q.s listed is approximately 1.62.2.(Show your work.) According to the Center for Disease Control website, in 2011 at least 18% of high school students have smoked a cigarette. An Introduction to Statistics class in Davies County, KY conducted a hypothesis test at the local high school (a medium sized–approximately 1,200 students–small city demographic) to determine if the local high school’s percentage was lower. One hundred fifty students were chosen at random and surveyed. Of the 150 students surveyed, 82 have smoked. Use a significance level of 0.05 and using appropriate statistical evidence, conduct a hypothesis test and state the conclusions. 3.(Show your work.) A study is done to determine if students in the California state university system take longer to graduate, on average, than students enrolled in private universities. One hundred students from both the California state university system and private universities are surveyed; suppose that from years of research, it is known that the population standard deviations are 1.5811 years and 1 year, respectively. The following data are collected. The California state university system students took on average 4.5 years with a standard deviation of 0.8. The private university students took on average 4.1 years with a standard deviation of 0.3. What would be your conclusions based on significance levels of 5% and 1%?

need tableaue homework completed
1. From CityDistNetwork.csv create a new file called CityDistNetworkEdges.csv with appropriately "normalized" Distribution Network edge definitions (one row for each "end" or "vertex" for each edge). Create a new column called "Route" that appropriately concatenates the SaleOfficeCity and the CustomerCity around the "<->" symbol to uniquely identify each route reflected by an edge.2. Extract the CityDistNetworkEdges.csv and CityDistNetworkVertices.csv files into a Tableau workbook. Create an appropriate join of these two files in Tableau. Generate a Line Graph that reflects the Distribution Network between cities. Weight the lines in the graph by the sum of Distance.3. Format the Network Graph to improve the appearance of the network. Change the Shading of the Worksheet to black. Change the path lines to a lighter color and decrease the opacity of the lines appropriately. Include City name as a Detail element in the Marks card.4. Create appropriate Edges and Vertices files from CityDistNetworkArprtCd.csv. Create a Route variable from the Origin and Dest fields. Create a join of the Edges and Vertices files in a new tableau workbook. 5. Create a map of the airport codes in CityDistNetworkArprtCd.csv. After creating the map, change the graph type to Line Graph. Connect Origin and Dest airports by using your created Route variable to define the Path in the line graph.6. Save each network graph to a separate .twbx file. Ensure that the data (Edges/Vertices join) is appropriately extracted into each .twbx.

Rasmussen College Areas Calculation with the Central Limit Theorem Worksheet
Demonstrate the use of the normal distribution, the standard normal distribution, and the central limit theorem for calculating areas under the normal curve and exploring these concepts in real life applications.ScenarioFrank has only had a brief introduction to statistics when he was in high school 12 years ago, and that did not cover inferential statistics. He is not confident in his ability to answer some of the problems posed in the course. As Frank's tutor, you need to provide Frank with guidance and instruction on a worksheet he has partially filled out. Your job is to help him understand and comprehend the material. You should not simply be providing him with an answer as this will not help when it comes time to take the test. Instead, you will be providing a step-by-step breakdown of the problems including an explanation on why you did each step and using proper terminology. What to SubmitTo complete this assignment, you must first download the spreadsheet , and then complete it by including the following items on the spreadsheet:Incorrect AnswersCorrect any wrong answers. You must also explain the error performed in the problem in your own words.Partially Finished WorkComplete any partially completed work.
