During the Vietnam War, the American army was composed of both men and women, and
blacks and whites. The men in the army mostly participated in the battle while the women mostly
volunteered to provide support services. Some of the activities that the women took part in were
as intelligent offices, air traffic controllers, clerks, weather monitors, and roughly 90% of them
were nurses for the wounded soldiers.
