Crowder is staring at the Department of Health while reminiscing about his old
ambitions. All he ever wanted was to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor someday but here
he was taking some social classes. It was heart-breaking considering he had to change careers
because of primarily lack of funds. He has desired to play football but at the same time focus on
his dream career. He was a multi-talented individual who could play several sports but his wellbuilt muscular body suited him to play football. His talent was quickly recognized before he
joined college while he was playing the junior high championships. His speed and deft skills as a
winger in the team earned him a place in one of the local colleges where he got a scholarship.
His surprise came when one of the advisors requested him to choose easy classes which would
cater for the football schedules.
The advice was not proper in putting Crowder to succeed in academics since he was not
keen on becoming a professional athlete. His background could have also played a part in his
case. He hailed from a humble family of four and the parents weren't able to afford his tuition
fees based on the fact that the college education tends to be expensive in America. His case is
one of the many athletes who get forced to take classes they never desired since they didn’t have
the funds for paying their own tuition. Despite the student-athletes dedicating between forty to
